MOL Pledges Support for Communities Hit by Heavy Rainstorms in Akita and Yamagata Prefectures

TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) today that it is donating ¥5 million to help communities devastated by recent heavy rainstorms in Japan's Akita and Yamagata Prefectures with immediate relief measures and long-term reconstruction of the affected areas. In addition, MOL Group executives and employees will hold a fund-raising drive and donate the collected funds.

The entire MOL Group prays that everyone affected by this disaster can return to their normal lives as soon as possible. The group will continue to support the victims in various ways and contribute to the reconstruction of the affected areas.
